Ed Nemec founded the Sebastian Society in order to encourage like-minded individuals, groups and companies to share their talents, experiences and wisdom to be the catalyst in helping others in reaching their dreams and potential. The Society is based on compassion for all on our life’s journey, transparency in our dealings and fiduciary responsibility.

I am currently Managing Partner for CraigSearch, an Executive Search firm in Dallas, Texas. Responsible for the firm’s national practice and growth strategies. Prior to forming CraigSearch, I spent five years as Vice President of Supermarket Recruiting for a national food executive search firm and as Vice President of Human Resources for Supermarkets Interstate, a division of the J.C. Penney Company. Ed is on the Boards of the Saint Vincent De Paul Thrift Store and Carter Blood Center in Dallas.

Born in Omaha, Nebraska, Ed received his Bachelor of Science degree from Creighton University and served as an Air Force pilot in Vietnam (Trail 66). Ed and his wife, Paula, have been married for more than 50 years and live in downtown Dallas.
